What is it?

Our zipline is a 1015 ft. cable slide. It starts at a spine-chilling 200 ft. above the crystal-clear waters of the lagoon.

You are strapped into your safety harness and double-checked by GCB's meticulous staff.

The first 100 ft. of the ride, an accelerating cruise over land, doesn't even begin to prepare you for the remainder. You start to scream as you approach the now visible 150 ft. shear drop-off, but you are strapped in and past the point of no return. You now have 915 ft. of cable to zip down at an average speed of 85 km/hr.

The ride is unreal! The best thing about the zipline is that the whole family can ride. The minimum weight for the zipline is 70 lbs, the maximum is 250 lbs, however you must be under 190 lbs to ride in the flying position.

HOW SAFE IS IT?

All equipment used by GCB has been specifically designed and engineered for bungee jumping, ziplining or rescue applications.

The equipment GCB uses meets or exceeds CBA, NABA, SANZ and Australian specifications. In addition many of the items also have UIAA, ULI and NFPA approvals.

Since its inception, GCB has been involved in the research and testing of new products, procedures and the development of safety associations and standards. In 1992 GCB helped form the Canadian Bungee Association (CBA) and authored safety guidelines for the organization. These guidelines are now used in several jurisdictions around the world to regulate bungee jumping. The guideline has also been used as a basis for the guidelines of other bungee safety organizations, such as the North American Bungee Association (NABA). GCB have also been a crucial participator in the efforts to create an ASTM standard for bungee jumping, a standard that when adopted will be used by regulators and legislators world-wide.
